Given that it’s now a signal and has a wonderful hanging wire on the back again, I figured I’d hold it a signal.
Well, kind of.

You can hang it or sit it on a shelf, both way.

Just a tiny various, huh? lol

Nicely, guess what? Yep…I pulled out yet another sheet of that extensive-dropped scrapbook paper I had stashed away and made use of it.

…and attached the scrapbook paper.

The moment it was dry, I took a piece of sandpaper and rubbed the edges to get a nice clean line like you see under.

I really like that small trick! Operates so well. (on cloth decoupage as well)

Then I printed (in reverse) out the words and phrases “on island time…” and organized them on the signal where by I wished them.

Then all you have to do is use a smaller artist’s brush to paint above the lettering. (one thing like this brush works really nicely)

I made use of white paint for the letters.

I went back in excess of regions that have been as well thin and then decided to incorporate shadowing.

white lettering with gray shadows

I like to print out the text with a “shadow” and it displays you in all places you will need to incorporate it.

Does not that just make the letters pop??

Last of all, I scorching glued a toddler starfish to the front to finish it up.
