Gorgeous Aussie Homes, Shops and Hospo Venues Named in the 2022 Australian Interior Design Awards Shortlist

The once-a-year Australian Interior Style and design Awards celebrates the greatest in class of interior excellence across hospitality venues, stores, artwork exhibitions, personal houses, creative studios and other properties. Right now, 184 jobs throughout the country have been named in its 2022 shortlist, together with foremost dining places, cafes, bars and shops.

Sydney’s amazing blue-hued Poho Flowers store, developed by Akin Atelier, built the minimize, as did Troye Sivan’s residence in Melbourne, built by Flack Studio.

The smooth second outpost for Melbourne sandwich shop Hector’s Deli is on the shortlist, alongside Adelaide’s stylish neighbourhood bar Arkhe and placing New York-motivated diner Fugazzi, equally developed by Studio Gram.

Sydney eatery Ursula’s, helmed by Phil Wood and developed by Brahman Perera, was picked for its exquisite eating area decked out in deep blue and bold caramel. And Smith Street Bistrot, built by Anthology, will get a shout-out for its European-impressed uncovered-brick inside with contemporary moss, antique mirrors, gothic chandeliers and burgundy banquettes.

The awards are shipped by the Style Institute of Australia and Architecture Media’s Artichoke magazine. This year’s jury panel includes Madeleine Blanchfield (Madeleine Blanchfield Architects), Eid Goh (Architects Take in), Stuart Krelle (Luchetti Krelle), Rosie Morley (Fender Katsalidis), Jade Nottage (Tom Mark Henry), Beatrix Rowe (Beatrix Rowe Interior Style), Peter Walker (Cumulus Studio) and Scott Walker (Hassell).
