Apartment Updates: Bowood Headboard and Sarah K Designs Bedding

Things are definitely beginning to decide up steam in the condominium! I’m so glad that Jen and I resolved on using Bowood for this piece. To say it is been reworked is an understatement. My colorway is green/grey. I selected this simply because there are two neutral colorways of the 100% cotton Bowood – eco-friendly/gray, or white/leaf (there are also blue and pink versions). The eco-friendly/gray experienced a very beige ground, and the white/leaf experienced a quite white ground. It was tough to determine due to the fact I favored both of those in distinct strategies – the beige ground experienced a rather tea-colored, antique search, but the white/leaf was quite clean up seeking. The good news is there was a best resolution – Bowood Union in environmentally friendly/gray. It has a beige ground that is not AS beige as the other variation – so it’s very seriously the best medium concerning the two. Perplexing, possibly! I felt it was significant to do my investigate and see all of the color and cloth possibilities ahead of deciding upon, so I’m happy I did that. 

I also preferred to share how considerably I enjoy my Sarah K. Patterns bedding! I found it via (who else?) Louise Roe, and just had to have it – even while figuring out British isles sizing was a bit of a head-scratcher. I’ve usually just been wholly enamored with ditsy florals so there was no dilemma in my head that I necessary this duvet and pillow set. It’s so fairly and charming. The shades, the print, the ruffles…just ideal. I have a full sizing bed and I’m fairly confident I received the British isles King dimension. It matches perfectly and it’s seriously delicate and relaxed. (By the way, I truly require to substitute the drum shades – I’m contemplating of executing a pleated inexperienced cloth!). It is really weird, I used to usually come across sleeping under my cover tremendous not comfortable and it felt seriously scorching and way too significant with a linen quilt cover on it…but at any time considering that I switched to this 1, I have no difficulties and come across it actually comfortable.
