3 children dead after woman attempts to stab 7 kids inside burning home, Georgia sheriff says

3 children, including a 9-month-old baby, are dead and their mom is billed with murder following she experimented with to stab her children inside of a burning dwelling, officials in Ga reported.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Place of work mentioned Sunday that authorities gained a get in touch with about a domestic disturbance and a residence fireplace in the 770 block of Woodwind Drive in Rockmart at 9:19 p.m. Friday. The caller indicated a female inside the residence was seeking to stab the occupants, the sheriff’s office environment mentioned in a news launch.

Rockmart is about 50 miles northwest of Atlanta.

The sheriff’s business and firefighters rescued the occupants and extinguished the blaze, the sheriff’s business claimed.

7 kids were being discovered in the home.

A 3-yr-previous with “multiple clear stab wounds” and a 9-thirty day period-outdated ended up pronounced lifeless at the scene, the sheriff’s business explained.

3 other little ones, ages 5, 9 and 11, were taken to hospitals with injuries. The mother nature of their injuries was not obvious Monday.
